As a professionally trained Security Officer for G4S, you could be a member of the security team responsible for securing premises, such as building sites, courts, shops, warehouses, banks and factories as well as ports and airports. You would be conducting foot or vehicle patrols, controlling access at points of entry, securing equipment and people, responding to emergency situations, monitoring CCTV and surveillance equipment and helping to identify and prevent criminal activity.

These roles play a pivotal role in managing the teams and their activities as well as liaising with our customers.

We employ many ex armed forces personnel in to these roles as they have hugely valuable and transferable skills.

These are roles that are more likely to be part time, attracting students and those who cannot commit to full time work.

Requirements

• Aged 18 or over
• Confident communicator
• Team player
• Drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times
• Good understanding of IT is beneficial
• Previous security experience and SIA license is beneficial but not essential
• Must have or be able to obtain Counter Terrorism Check Level clearance
