Deputy Manager

Come and join our fantastic team that is passionate about providing outstanding care. Accordia Care is looking for a committed and exceptionally driven Deputy Manager for a supported living service situated in Epsom, Surrey. This role entails supporting and assisting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring that high standards of care and support are maintained.

Working within Health & Social Care can at times be high-pressure and unpredictable, there are times when the individuals that we support will be in crisis. It is essential that the individual applying for this role understands this and can keep a calm and professional demeanour whilst supporting those in need.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Deputy Manager or Team Leader in a supported living setting, ideally providing support to clients with forensic mental health challenges.
  • Extensive experience in supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Level 5 Qualifications in Health and/or Social Care in Adult Care or commitment to pursue it.
  • Excellent understanding of CQC requirements.
  • Displaying a profound grasp on safeguarding, compliance and the highest care standards, ensuring a commitment to ethical and responsible care provision.
  • Have a track record of effectively leading and motivating care teams, fostering a culture of encouragement and teamwork.
  • Familiar with liaising with clients about services users.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting and assisting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring that high standards of care and support are maintained.
