This role will be to support the continued growth of the business, reporting into the General Counsel. The Ingenuity Legal Team currently comprises 6 qualified lawyers working across a variety of practice areas.

Requirements

• Law degree
• 6 years’ minimum PQE in a reputed law firm or the legal industry
• Holding a valid practising certificate
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders in the business (Board level)
• Highly motivated and reliable individual
• Ability to make sound judgements

Responsibilities

• Negotiating, drafting and advising upon a variety of commercial agreements (mostly client facing), including supplier and customer contracts, distribution agreements, standard T&Cs of purchase, automation / distribution contracts etc;
• Negotiating, drafting and advising upon intellectual property arrangements, including licence in and out of IPR;
• Advising upon website related activity (including website T&Cs, privacy policy etc);
