Hampshire County Council is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Senior Engineer for the Transport & Environmental Design team within Hampshire Engineering Services.

In this role you will have an opportunity to be involved in a range of schemes from inception through to completion. Using your existing skills, you will design and deliver cost effective solutions in accordance with the relevant design standards.

The role will also provide scope to develop existing skills and progress your career with exposure to a diverse project workload. Hampshire Engineering Services is focused on technical excellence; we provide a supportive environment in which to develop our staff to ensure careers thrive.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree or BTEC Higher standard in Civil Engineering
  • Substantial demonstrable experience in the design and construction of development and water management projects
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver cost effective solutions in accordance with the relevant design standards
  • Involvement in a range of schemes from inception through to completion
