Glasgow-based Japanese-English Interpreter Wanted
We are looking for an experienced Japanese-English consecutive interpreter for a potential international conference assignment at the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow.
Dates:
- 6 October 2026, 09:00–18:00
- 7 October 2026, 09:00–18:00
- 8 October 2026, 09:00–12:00
The assignment will involve interpreting during presentations, Q&A sessions, conference sessions, exhibition activities, and professional networking. The subject area is water supply and related infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Based in or near Glasgow
- International conference interpreting experience
- Strong Japanese-English consecutive interpreting skills
- Willingness to prepare technical water-related terminology
- Availability for an online briefing before the assignment
- Ability to comply with confidentiality and information-security requirements

- 日本語・英語双方で正確かつ円滑な逐次通訳ができる方

- グラスゴーおよび英国の地域事情に理解がある方
- 顧客のイベントチームの一員として適切な服装・接遇で対応できる方
- 2026年10月2日以前に実施するオンライン事前打合せに参加できる方
