Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an English Tutor and inspire young learners in Year 4-6 to achieve their learning goals in upcoming 11+ Exam! In this role, you will deliver engaging English lessons through a virtual platform, fostering confidence and fluency in your students. Duties
- Develop, localise and improve learning and teaching materials
- Conduct interactive online English lessons tailored to student’s level and learning objectives
- Deliver high quality free trial sessions and work with course consultants to provide professional learning suggestions to new students
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate diverse teaching methods and educational resources
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
- Use digital tools and multimedia resources effectively to enhance the learning experience
- Maintain accurate records of lesson activities, attendance, and student achievements
- Communicate clearly with students and parents (when applicable) to set expectations and address questions
- Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that builds students’ confidence in speaking and understanding English
- Achieve high scores in 11+ English exams.
Skills
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English, especially in an online environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Experience working with children or young learners, understanding their unique needs and learning styles
- Ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual student progress and feedback
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in using online teaching platforms, digital tools, and multimedia resources
- Passion for education, cultural sensitivity, and a motivating attitude that inspires learners to succeed

Requirements
- Graduate from Top UK University; Degree in any discipline; education, English, or related fields preferred.
- Experience in 11+ Exams as a student, examiner, marker, and/or tutor is a plus.
- Teaching experience is preferred (experience with young learners is a plus).
- Comfortable teaching online and proficient with common video conferencing and collaboration tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Availability during hours suitable for students in the target time slots (evening and weekends)

- Hourly rated Tutoring fee (30-130 GBP).
