Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant in KS2
Salary: £26,427 FTE plus Special Needs Allowance
Hours: 12noon - 3.25pm Mon - Fri, 17 hours 5 minutes per week
Location: Malvern Wyche Primary School
Term Time Only plus 2 TED days
Fixed Term Contract for 4 years
We are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in KS2 to provide highly tailored 1:1 support for a named primary pupil with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), ensuring they can safely and fully access the curriculum, achieve targeted learning milestones, and build independent social and life skills within an inclusive mainstream environment. The post-holder will work closely under the guidance of the Class Teacher and SENCO to deliver strategies outlined within the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or individual learning framework. This post will include a lunchtime duty supporting the pupil to play safely and integrate in school life.

Disclosure Barring Service (DBS)
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
