Salary - Grade 6 (SCP 6-9) £7,489 - £7,854 pro rated per annum, term-time, 12 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. Fixed term until 31st August 2027.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive primary school team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children learn, grow and thrive. Working closely with teachers, you will provide one-to-one support to two specific pupils in the upper classes of Key Stage 2, helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child can reach their full potential.

The working pattern for this role is 9am-12pm, four mornings per week. There is some flexibility around this, which can be discussed further at interview.

The Role Will Include

  • Working one to one to support learning across curriculum
  • Support pupils to achieve their potential
  • Assist teachers in delivering tailored interventions and learning strategies
  • Encourage confidence, independence and a love of learning
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Provide support for individual students inside and outside of the classroom to participate in activities
  • Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
