1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant : Crawley

Are you a patient, dedicated individual with a passion for helping children reach their full potential? We are seeking enthusiastic 1:1 Primary Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a wide network of primary schools in Crawley and the surrounding areas.

This is your opportunity to make a genuine impact. By providing tailored support, you will give individual pupils the focused attention and encouragement they need to thrive and succeed in their daily learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 academic, social, and emotional support to primary-aged pupils.
  • Collaborate closely with class teachers and SENCOs to adapt learning materials, ensuring they meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Help students remain focused, confident, and actively engaged during classroom activities.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and monitor pupil progress throughout the school day to ensure they feel supported.

Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: Previous experience working with children is essential (e.g., in schools, nurseries, youth clubs, sports coaching, or care settings).
  • An empathetic, patient, and highly engaging approach to working with primary education.
  • Strong communication skills and a reliable, adaptable professional demeanour.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational atmosphere.
