Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant & Wrap Around Care Assistant

Salary: TA £9,347 - £9,485 per annum + Wrap Around Care £5,169 per annum

Hours: 23 hours in total (14 hours 30 mins 1:1 TA/ 8 hours 30 mins Wrap)

Location: Blakedown CE Primary School

TA Hours: Temporary (related to the EHCP)/ Wrap Hours Permanent

The governors are seeking to appoint a caring, positive, self-motivated and organised candidate in a dual role as 1:1 teaching assistant and wrap around care assistant. As teaching assistant you will support two different children across the week, both of whom have an EHCP and you will need to communicate with two different job share partners who work in the mornings. Therefore, the ability to work flexibly and to communicate well with different people will need to be key skills. As wrap around care assistant, you will work to help support our busy and thriving Busy Bee Wrap Around Care provision, providing a safe and fun atmosphere whilst encouraging creative and imaginative play activities. Previous experience of working with children in a school setting is essential, and you must demonstrate patience and empathy and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
