12 Month Intern - GMD COO Office Clearing Analyst

Based in London, within the Global Markets Division (GMD) / COO Office, you will be part of the GMD Transversal COO team in charge of transversal functions of the Global Market Division.
As Clearing Analyst, you will assist the Senior Clearing Coordinator in:
- Coordinating all Clearing aspects for OTC derivatives, Listed Derivatives (ETD) and Repos
- Regulatory watch and Regulatory change relating to clearing obligation in Europe, in the US and in Asia
- Implementing new rules and adequate organization to meet regulatory requirements
- Providing reports on clearing activities
- Coordination of the response to CCP due diligence questionnaires
- Onboarding new CCPs Paris booking if necessary
- Assessing Clearing impact of Transversal projects:
- Contingency planning on Clearing (Monitoring and implementation)
- Contributing to scarce resources planning (RWA reduction, Balance Sheet reduction)
- Contributing to collateral clearing management upon request of the relevant team
- Relationship management with major European CCPs and Clearing Brokers
- Implementing other CCP initiatives (LCH SwapAgent, EUREX partnership program)
- Acting as Business Project Manager for Clearing IT projects
