132kV SAP | HV Cables & Substations
Experts Group International is supporting a major UK power infrastructure contractor on a significant 132kV cable and substation project in Staffordshire and is looking to speak with experienced Senior Authorised Persons (SAPs) for a long-term contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control electrical safety throughout the project.
- Support HV cable installation and jointing activities.
- Lead SAP duties during HV testing and commissioning.
- Manage switching operations, isolations, permits, and safety documentation.
- Ensure compliance with NGED electrical safety rules.

Requirements:
- 132kV Senior Authorised Person (SAP) authorisation.
- NGED SAP authorisation (highly desirable).
- Proven experience on HV cable and substation projects.
- GIS substation experience.
- HV switching and isolation experience.
- Permit-to-Work and Sanction for Test experience.
- Previous experience supporting cable installation, jointing, testing, and energisation.
