18T HIAB Driver | Witham | Full Time | £18.00 per hour

Our client is a market-leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of temporary fencing, site hoarding and barriers, with over 20 offices and depots across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe. They manufacture more than 1.6 million units each year and supply solutions to a wide range of sectors, including construction and security.

The Role

As an 18T HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently, providing a professional service to customers and supporting the wider depot team when required.

The role requires a valid Class 2 HGV Licence and HIAB licence with hook attachment, along with experience in safe loading and securing of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete scheduled deliveries and collections, following customer and delivery instructions
  • Provide a professional and reliable service when attending customer sites
  • Operate the HIAB hook attachment safely
  • Load and secure goods safely using ratchet straps
  • Complete delivery documentation accurately and report any issues or discrepancies
  • Maintain clear records of deliveries and any handling or location-specific requirements
  • Assist with yard duties, including loading, unloading and stock organisation as required
  • Work with the depot team to maintain a safe and tidy working environment
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements
  • Keep the vehicle clean and organised
  • Complete tachograph records and all required driver documentation in line with regulations
  • Maintain compliance with relevant transport and health and safety regulations

  • Valid Class 2 HGV Licence
  • Valid HIAB Licence with hook attachment
  • Proven HGV driving experience
  • At least 1 year of driving experience
  • Experience using ratchet straps and securing loads safely
  • Ability to complete driver and delivery documentation accurately
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Please note that candidates will be required to undergo a DVLA licence check as part of the selection process prior to progressing to interview.
