1st Fix Electricians Required

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dependable 1st Fix Electrician to join our electrical installation team on residential and commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all first fix electrical works safely, efficiently, and in accordance with current regulations, drawings, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install containment systems including conduit, trunking, tray, basket, and cable ladder.
  • Carry out first fix wiring installations.
  • Install back boxes, conduit runs, cable routes, and containment prior to plastering and finishing works.
  • Pull and route cables in accordance with drawings and specifications.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and installation plans.
  • Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and site standards.
  • Work closely with supervisors and other trades to maintain programme deadlines.
  • Identify and report any installation issues or drawing discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times.
  • Follow all site health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a 1st Fix Electrician.
  • Valid CSCS Card (required).
  • Good knowledge of containment and first fix installation methods.
  • Ability to work from technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of safe working practices on construction sites.
  • Own hand tools and PPE.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

£23 Per hour - CSCS
