Our IT team aims "to provide world-class IT systems that enable Vertu to deliver an outstanding customer motoring experience", and this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a large, successful business.

The working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, based at Team Valley, Gateshead.

This role would suit someone with previous IT support experience, but we would also welcome applications from individuals who have recently completed an IT Apprenticeship and are looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and fast-paced IT environment.

Irrespective of the role, the "non-negotiables" for any of our colleagues are Drive, Character, Attitude, Energy and Talent. Technical knowledge is important, but we are equally interested in how you have applied these qualities to achieve success and overcome challenges.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
