IT Service Desk Analyst (1st Line Support)

York | Permanent | Hybrid Working

Salary - £29,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We're looking for a customer-focused IT Service Desk Analyst to join a busy IT team in York. Acting as the first point of contact for IT support, you'll provide first-line technical assistance, manage incidents and service requests, and help ensure users receive a professional and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st line support via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
  • Log, prioritise and resolve IT incidents and service requests.
  • Support Microsoft 365 and Windows-based environments.
  • Manage user access requests and onboarding/offboarding activities.
  • Assist with IT asset management and hardware deployments.
  • Escalate complex issues to specialist teams where required.

About You

  • Previous customer service or support experience.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
  • Organised, proactive, and keen to develop a career in IT.
  • Full UK driving licence.
