Role Overview
You’ll play a key role in keeping our client’s London team connected and productive, providing hands-on first line support as part of a small onsite team. From resolving everyday IT issues and helping colleagues access the tools they need to coordinating equipment shipments and keeping the service desk running smoothly, your work will make a visible difference each day. You’ll have the support of experienced engineers, with opportunities to build your skills as you take on new challenges. You will keep users informed, work within Vorboss’s service standards and agreed response times, and hand more complex issues to the wider support team when needed.

Key Responsibilities
(Please note that this list is not exhaustive)
- Respond to and resolve tier 1 tickets, including group membership changes, account lockouts and other routine access requests, following agreed processes and security checks.
- Triage incoming service desk requests, record clear details in the ticketing system, prioritise them appropriately and route issues to the right colleague or team.
- Monitor the service desk queue during your shift, follow up on open requests and keep users informed of progress.
- Coordinate equipment shipments and returns, including arranging dispatch, tracking deliveries and keeping records up to date.
- Support routine joiner, mover and leaver tasks, working with the team and using established Okta processes and automation.
- Help users with straightforward device, application and account issues, escalating anything outside your knowledge or access.
- Document common requests and resolutions, and flag recurring issues or gaps in the process to the wider team.
The Right Candidate
You may be a recent graduate or have around one to two years of IT support experience. Relevant practical experience, including placements or apprenticeships, is welcome.
- You are comfortable helping people with everyday IT issues and are keen to develop your technical skills.
- You can organise a queue of requests, keep accurate records and know when to ask for help or escalate.
- You communicate clearly and patiently with users and colleagues, both in writing and in person.
- You pay attention to detail when handling user access, devices and shipments.

You can work from the client’s London office Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm.
Desirable
- Familiarity with a ticketing system such as Halo and Jira, basic user administration in Okta or Google Workspace, or hands-on support for macOS devices would be useful. You do not need advanced administration experience in these platforms.
