1st Line IT Support Technician

Edinburgh | £26,500 - £29,500 + Outstanding Training & Benefits

We're working with a well-established and growing Edinburgh-based MSP with a stable, experienced team and a strong reputation for delivering first-class IT support to a broad client base, including Evolve IT Recruitment Ltd!

This is an excellent opportunity for a 1st Line Support Engineer who has gained around 12-18 months' commercial experience, ideally from an MSP environment or perhaps a busy internal IT team. You'll be looking for a more structured environment, with clear development opportunities and a great team culture.

You'll support a wide range of Microsoft 365 environments, troubleshoot day-to-day IT issues, assist with hardware deployments and projects, and work alongside experienced engineers who are genuinely invested in helping people progress.

What we're looking for:

  • Around 18 months' IT support experience (including apprenticeships)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Confident troubleshooting user issues including MFA, connectivity, printers and file access
  • A positive attitude and desire to learn
