1st Line Onsite Deskside IT Support – Global Law Firm City of London
My client has a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to progress their career in technology within a fast-paced supportive environment.
Ideally you will have a minimum of one year's experience within IT support.
Please note that this is a junior team role.
Joining a team of 18 professionals you would proactively look after the needs of c 1000 local users and guests offering a hotel style, white glove support service.
Upskilling, progression and mentoring are offered, and they are renowned for the career opportunities they offer.
The focus is to offer a seamless support service to all their staff and guests, regardless of status. This involves working swiftly and effectively to resolve or escalate any technology issues. It is key that users are confident that a team member has taken ownership to resolve any issues – even if they then in turn work with others for a full resolution.

They are a Microsoft house but also utilise a number of software applications unique to their sector. Good experience in the troubleshooting of Microsoft applications is required but training will be given for the support of other software / applications as required.
This is a varied front facing role, and you will be part of a team offering support across hardware, software, applications and systems. Alongside troubleshooting issues, you will also be tasked with activities such as setting up, configuring, and installing software on PC’s, laptops, mobile devices, printers and networking equipment.
Some of the skills / experience required:
- Experience of offering good customer service – this may be from an IT support role but may also have been gained in other roles (i.e. hospitality, retail, other customer facing roles outside of IT)
- Knowledge of Microsoft programmes (is O365)
- Confidence to in being able to troubleshoot common issues
- It would be beneficial if you have some experience in supporting both hardware and software
- Be able to work as part of a team or independently
