1st Line Service Desk Analyst - Paying up to £150 Per Day, Inside IR35, Based in Cardiff, Hybrid Working (2 days per week on site), To Start ASAP
Your new role
We're looking for a 1st Line Service Desk Analyst to join a busy and collaborative technology support team, providing high quality day-to-day support across a broad IT environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, working with users and developing their technical knowledge across technologies including ServiceNow, SAP, Citrix, Microsoft and Azure.
What you'll be doing
- Providing 1st line / Tier 1 technical support to users
- Handling general IT queries, incidents and service requests
- Supporting users within a ServiceNow environment
- Providing general support around SAP products
- Troubleshooting Citrix VPN and remote access issues
- Supporting Microsoft technologies and the wider MS stack
- Working with Azure-based technologies
- Resolving issues at first contact where possible and escalating more complex problems appropriately
- Delivering a friendly, professional and customer focused support experience

What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a 1st Line, Service Desk, Helpdesk or IT Support position
- Exposure to ServiceNow or a similar ITSM/ticketing environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies
- Any experience supporting SAP, Citrix or Azure would be beneficial
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills
