First Line IT Support
Permanent | £30k -35k | Central London | Office-Based (5 Days per Week)
Are you an experienced IT Support professional who enjoys solving problems, helping people and being the go-to contact for technology queries? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing technology-focused organisation, where you'll play a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.
As the first point of contact for IT support requests, you will provide hands-on assistance to office-based users, troubleshoot technical issues and ensure colleagues receive a responsive, professional service. This role offers the chance to make a genuine impact within a collaborative and supportive working environment while developing your technical skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all IT-related queries and support requests
- Provide first line IT support to office-based employees across the business
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day hardware, software and system issues
- Log, manage and track support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and communication
- Escalate network, infrastructure and more complex technical issues to internal or external engineers when required
- Liaise with users throughout the support process, providing clear updates on IT incidents and resolutions
- Assist with user account administration, device setup and system access requests
- Maintain accurate records of issues, fixes and support activities
- Contribute to the delivery of a positive and efficient IT support experience across the organisation

Skills & Experience Required
- Approximately 2 years' experience within an IT Support, Service Desk or Helpdesk environment
- Experience providing first line technical support to end users
- Confident acting as the first point of contact for IT queries and incidents
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Customer-focused approach with a proactive and professional attitude
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy office environment
- Experience from any industry sector will be considered
- A collaborative team player with a willingness to learn and develop
