📈 Series B | High Growth | SaaS | Tech for Good

Want to join a seriously ambitious SaaS business at the point where things are really starting to scale?

We’re partnering with a high-growth, Series B funded Tech for Good business that is investing heavily in its technology, products and people.

They’ve reached an exciting stage in their journey: the product is proven, the business is growing rapidly, and the complexity and frequency of software releases are increasing with it.

As a result, they’re looking for an experienced Release Manager to play a pivotal role in how new products and features move from development through to customers.

And this is much more than managing a release calendar.

The opportunity

Sitting at the intersection of Product, Engineering and Go-to-Market, you’ll take ownership of making sure releases are coordinated, understood, high quality and genuinely ready to land.

You’ll bring multiple teams together around one clear release plan, creating visibility across the business and making sure everyone knows:

  • What’s being released.
  • When it’s happening.
  • Who needs to be involved.
  • What could derail it.
  • And whether the business is genuinely ready.

What you'll be doing

You’ll own and coordinate end-to-end software releases, working across Product, Engineering and wider business teams to ensure releases happen smoothly and predictably.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll:

  • Define and drive clear release readiness criteria and quality gates
  • Build release plans covering timelines, dependencies, risks and ownership
  • Coordinate phased rollouts of new products and features
  • Manage cross-functional release meetings and readiness checkpoints
  • Identify blockers and risks early - and drive them through to resolution
  • Ensure internal teams are properly briefed ahead of major releases
  • Own release documentation, updates and stakeholder communications
  • Help coordinate customer testing and early-access initiatives
  • Create consistent release processes, templates and ways of working
  • Run post-release reviews and turn lessons learned into improvements
  • Track release performance and use data to improve future delivery
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimisation

What makes this interesting?

The business is scaling quickly, so they don't want somebody to simply inherit a process and maintain it.

They want somebody who can help shape it.

You’ll have the autonomy to look at how releases happen today, identify where things could be better and introduce the structure, processes and tooling needed for a growing SaaS organisation.

You’ll be joining at a stage where your work can have a visible impact across Product, Engineering and the wider business.

Who are we looking for?

You’ll probably already be working as a:

  • Release Manager
  • Software Release Manager
  • Product Operations Manager
  • Technical Programme Manager

You'll ideally bring:

  • Strong experience managing software releases within a SaaS or technology environment
  • Experience working closely with Product and Engineering
  • Good knowledge of Agile delivery and the SDLC
  • Excellent stakeholder and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Strong risk, dependency and blocker management
  • Experience introducing or improving release processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • The confidence to challenge, influence and create accountability across teams
  • A pragmatic approach — adding structure without adding unnecessary bureaucracy

Experience with phased releases, feature flags, customer testing or early-access programmes would be a bonus.

Why consider it?

This is a chance to join a mission-led, Series B funded technology business during a significant period of growth.

You’ll get the stability of an established SaaS product combined with the pace, investment and opportunity that comes with a scaling technology company.

Most importantly, you'll have the chance to build something.

Rather than simply keeping releases moving, you'll help create a release function capable of supporting the organisation through its next phase of growth.
