About DAFY

DAFY helps dog owners prepare safe, complete and balanced meals for their dogs at home. Home feeding can feel confusing. How much should you feed? Is the recipe balanced? Are all the essential nutrients there? We provide practical nutrition guidance, ready-made recipes, personalised recipes and consultations to help owners do it properly and with confidence.

Around 300 dog owners across the UK are already DAFY customers, and our customer base is growing at approximately 30% month on month. We have the expertise, products, customer reviews and plenty of raw content. Now we’re looking for someone who can turn that material into engaging marketing and help more dog owners discover us.

The Opportunity

You’ll work directly with DAFY’s founder as a creative marketing partner, bringing ideas and helping put them into practice. The founder will remain the face and nutrition expert behind DAFY. She’ll answer questions, film educational content, demonstrate recipes and provide the knowledge behind the marketing. Your role is to help decide what we should talk about, tell her what you need filmed, and turn that footage and expertise into content that gets people interested and encourages them to visit the website.

Who We Want to Reach

Our audience includes owners who:

  • Want to start preparing homemade food but aren’t sure where to begin.
  • Already home feed but want to know whether their dog’s meals are balanced.
  • Need personalised guidance around their individual dog’s needs.

Our aim is to become a trusted, practical source of nutrition guidance and make balanced home feeding easier to understand.

What We Want to Achieve

The immediate priority is helping more owners discover and purchase our ready-made recipes, personalised recipes and consultations. V-Integra, the nutritional supplement used within relevant recipes, is also part of the business. Growing recipe sales should support supplement purchases too. We want useful content that builds trust, brings people to the website and helps them become customers. You won’t be expected to arrive with every answer, but you should be interested in testing ideas and learning what works.

What You’ll Do

  • Bring ideas and a clear plan. Look at DAFY, our audience and our products, then suggest what we should create, why it matters and what we want people to do next.
  • Turn our expertise into engaging content. Give the founder clear filming requests, edit short-form videos, write persuasive captions and create social content with clear calls to action.
  • Make use of what already exists. Find ways to repurpose footage, podcast clips and educational material.
  • Keep marketing running consistently. Help plan and deliver social content, regular newsletters through Shopify Email, and support paid activity on Meta and Google where appropriate.
  • Learn from the results. Are people engaging, visiting the website, joining the email list and buying? Help us understand what to repeat, improve or change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

With approximately 25 hours a month, priorities will matter. We’ll agree a realistic scope and focus on the activities most likely to make a difference.

You don’t need to be an analytics expert, but you should care about how your work contributes to the business.

What You’ll Have to Work With

DAFY already has:

  • Existing social channels and an email list.
  • Videos, photographs and educational material.
  • Cooking and recipe footage.
  • Podcast clips and customer reviews.
  • Shopify and Shopify Email.
  • Existing Meta and Google advertising.
  • A founder who is happy to create content when given a clear brief.

You’ll work closely with the founder to learn DAFY’s voice and approach. Content will need approval initially, particularly nutritional claims, with more independence as the relationship develops.

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll be a good fit if you:

  • Can edit engaging short-form video and write strong, clear copy.
  • Bring fresh ideas without waiting to be told what to create.
  • Are organised, dependable and follow through on commitments.
  • Communicate proactively and ask for what you need in advance.
  • Care about website visits and customers as well as engagement.
  • Are willing to learn and genuinely love dogs.

Experience with e-commerce, email marketing, Shopify, Meta Ads or Google Ads would be useful. You don’t need to be an expert in every platform. A recent graduate or someone early in their marketing career could be a great fit. We’re equally open to someone with more experience who brings creativity and enthusiasm.

What Success Looks Like

After the first few months, we’d like to see:

  • A steady flow of fresh, relevant ideas.
  • Clear requests for the founder’s footage and input.
  • Good content being published consistently.
  • Regular communication with our audience through social and email.
  • A better understanding of which messages lead to website visits and purchases.
  • Evidence that we’re testing and improving.
  • Less marketing planning and chasing falling on the founder.
  • Ultimately, we want more of the right dog owners discovering DAFY and becoming customers.

Your First Three Months

In month one, you’ll get to know the products, audience, voice and existing marketing. You’ll review the material and results, then help agree where to focus. In months two and three, you’ll put the plan into practice: bring ideas, request footage in advance, create and publish content, review results and adjust. At the end of three months, we’ll review commercial results, website activity, email growth, content quality, reliability and how well we work together. If it’s a good fit, we want an ongoing relationship. There may also be scope for additional hours as the business grows.
