Ready to step into a lead role on mid-to-upper market transactions? An established, fast-growing London PE practice at a leading US firm is looking for a senior associate to drive complex sponsor deals.

This practice is structured to give you real leverage. Teams are kept lean by design, offering direct deal execution experience, high client touch, and a genuine career trajectory without unnecessary administrative layers or internal politics.

The Role

  • Act as primary associate lead on mid-market and large-cap sponsor buyouts, carve-outs, joint ventures, and public-to-private transactions across Europe.
  • Lead negotiations on primary deal docs (SPAs, SHAs, investment agreements) and drive commercial conversations alongside PE clients.
  • Supervise, mentor, and delegate to junior associates and trainees while maintaining direct, daily partner contact.
  • Play an active role in business development and building relationships with PE deal teams, founders, and co-investors.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
