Bloomberg

Location: London

Business area: Sales and Client Service

Start date: November 2026

Language requirement: Fluent Arabic and English

Visa sponsorship: Available, subject to eligibility

Use your language skills to solve problems for global clients.

Bloomberg sits at the centre of the global financial markets, providing the data, technology and tools that financial professionals use to make important decisions.

Our Analytics, Client Service and Sales Programme is an opportunity to develop expertise in financial markets, Bloomberg products and international client relationships.

You’ll start with comprehensive training before joining one of our Analytics teams. There, you’ll help Bloomberg Professional Service users solve problems, understand our technology and get greater value from Bloomberg’s products.

As your knowledge and client experience grow, you’ll have opportunities to progress towards Sales, advanced specialist support or leadership roles.

This is not a traditional sales-only position. It combines analytical problem-solving, technology, customer service, relationship management and commercial thinking.

Your journey at Bloomberg

Build your knowledge

You’ll start by completing Bloomberg’s comprehensive Analytics and Sales training programme.

The Training Will Introduce You To

  • Financial-market principles
  • Major market participants
  • Different asset classes
  • Bloomberg data and technology
  • Bloomberg’s analytical tools and functionality
  • Client workflows and business challenges
  • Effective client communication and relationship management

You don’t need to arrive as a financial-markets expert. We’ll help you develop the knowledge and confidence required to support Bloomberg clients.

You will, however, need a genuine interest in financial markets and the motivation to keep learning.

Join an Analytics and Client Service team

After your initial training, you’ll join one of Bloomberg’s Analytics teams.

Bloomberg provides 24/7 support to Bloomberg Professional Service users across different countries, industries and financial markets. Clients contact us through our Helpdesk using the Instant Bloomberg chat system.

Across Bloomberg, our teams respond to more than 12,000 queries each day in over 15 languages.

You’ll use your Arabic and English language skills to understand client questions, investigate problems and provide fast, accurate solutions.

One client may need help using Bloomberg’s risk-management tools. Another may want to understand how to find new sources of market liquidity. You could also help clients explore data, improve a workflow or use newly released Bloomberg functionality.

The range of questions is broad, so every day brings opportunities to learn.

Develop your client and commercial career

As your product knowledge and understanding of client workflows deepen, you’ll have opportunities to progress across Analytics, Client Service and Sales.

Many Analytics representatives progress towards opportunities in Sales.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Bloomberg Sales professionals are consultative, curious and entrepreneurial. They build trusted client relationships, understand clients’ business goals and identify the Bloomberg products and solutions that can help them work more effectively.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, our Sales teams explore how each client works and recommend relevant solutions across Bloomberg’s range of enterprise offerings.

Other career options can include joining an advanced specialist support team or progressing into a leadership position.
