About Huawei
Huawei’s products and services are available in more than 170 countries and are used by a third of the world’s population. Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) is one of Huawei’s three business units and covers smartphones, PC and tablets, wearables and cloud services, etc.
Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) is part of CBG and it develops new cloud services that are offered free of charge to Huawei mobile device users.
HMS ecosystem is now the third largest ecosystem in the world. As of September 2020, 96,000 global apps have integrated with HMS Core. HMS Apps continues to launch globally, with content apps such as HUAWEI Music, HUAWEI Video, HUAWEI Themes, HUAWEI Reader and HUAWEI Game Center taking center stage in various countries and regions.
About the IRC
Huawei Ireland Research Centre (IRC) mission is to position Huawei as a recognized technology leader and a global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) solutions. To achieve this we are building an industry-recognized multi-discipline Research Centre of experts with focus on medium-term to long-term issues. The IRC will work closely with an open innovative ecosystem with Huawei customers to address real-world issues. The IRC will also engage with key European universities to build a basic research capability to support Huawei technical projects.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our Recruitment team and work closely with our Hiring Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract top technical talent to support Huawei's ambitious programme. Huawei's Ireland Research centre has seen an increase in recruitment demand in recent years and is in urgent need of professional recruiters to join our team. You are expected to have proven recruitment skills, be able to understand technical issues and effectively manage various stakeholders.

In this role, you will work close with the hiring team, be a trusted partner to the candidate and you will be recruiting in the domains of AI, LLM, NLP, Graphics, and Cloud.
Location: Dublin 2 (5 days in the office)
Contract type: 12 months contract, renewable
Manage the full recruitment life cycle for key business team to include:
- Proactively attract and source candidates: Utilize a diverse array of strategies to directly attract and source candidates, with a particular focus on niche roles. Accountable for achieving recruitment outcomes and fulfilling established recruitment targets.
- Build and maintain relationships: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with internal business units and candidates to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Understand business and technical needs: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business requirements and the specific technical competencies necessary for each role.
- Ensure seamless onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires. Actively manage candidate engagement from initial contact through to their successful integration into the company.
- Provide recruitment analytics: Deliver detailed statistical data and reports to the Recruitment Manager to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement in recruitment practices.

Skills Required:
- 5 years+ experience of full-cycle technical recruiting and sourcing experience within a technology company
- Experience in recruitment for fields such as recommendation systems and Bidding and advertising recommendations
- Strong candidate relationship management skills, strong top-down communication skills to effectively work with stakeholders.
- Comfort with using tools like Excel or specialized HR analytics software for reporting and tracking metrics
- Experience in a fast-paced, transparent work environment and comfortable accepting and giving constructive feedback
