2027 BNY Analyst Program – Credit
BNY’s Credit and Lending Practice plays a key role in supporting client financing needs while maintaining strong credit discipline and risk management across the firm. The Credit Analyst Program offers driven students hands-on exposure to the practice through strategic projects aligned to credit analysis, underwriting, portfolio monitoring, transaction support and process improvement. In a fast-paced environment, analysts will gain insight into the credit lifecycle, support financial analysis, reporting and documentation, and build an understanding of lending fundamentals, credit risk and the role sound judgment and partnership play in effective credit decisions.
What you will do
- Analyze company financials, industry trends, and key risk indicators to support borrower and transaction assessments.
- Assist with credit materials, portfolio reviews, and reporting that help teams evaluate opportunities and monitor exposures.
- Learn how deal structures are built and how lending decisions balance growth, risk, and client needs.
- Partner with experienced professionals to understand how disciplined underwriting supports resilient client relationships.

Analyst Program
Our 24-month rotational Analyst Program is designed to set you up for success from day one. Program eligibility:
- Enrollment in a 3 or 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related degrees preferred
- Graduating in Summer 2027
- Minimum 2:1 or Higher
- Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.
