2027 BNY Analyst Program – Delivery
At BNY, the Delivery Practice is where strategy becomes action. Through rotations and high-impact projects, you will help teams plan, prioritize, and deliver work that matters—while gaining hands-on experience in process and value-stream mapping, PI planning, capacity and dependency management, governance, change execution, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and business teams to connect priorities to Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), spot risks early, and keep delivery moving. You will also explore how AI-enabled tools and trusted data can streamline routine analysis, uncover useful insights, and support faster, smarter decisions. With exposure to the Enterprise Transformation Hub, you will see how enterprise priorities and cross-platform initiatives come together—and help shape the standards, skills, tools, and measures that make delivery work at scale.
What you will do
- Bring delivery journeys to life by mapping processes and value streams, uncovering handoffs and dependencies, and identifying smarter ways of working.
- Help turn priorities into action by supporting PI and delivery planning, connecting work to Objectives and Key Results, and keeping milestones, capacity, decisions, risks, and issues visible.
- Put AI-enabled tools to work by summarizing delivery information, streamlining routine reporting, spotting patterns and emerging risks, and translating data into actionable insights.
- Partner across teams to manage intake, priorities, and dependencies, strengthen alignment, and move decisions and next steps forward.
- Create clear, compelling updates and delivery-health insights that help leaders understand progress, performance, risks, and outcomes.
- Help shape playbooks, standards, and improvement efforts that make delivery more consistent, efficient, and effective across BNY.
Skills you will build
- Confidence in taking projects and programs from plan to delivery, including PI planning and outcome alignment.
- The ability to collaborate across teams, influence stakeholders, and help people navigate change.
- A practical approach to process and value-stream mapping, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
- Hands-on experience managing milestones, capacity, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- AI fluency—from effective prompting and responsible validation to turning data into useful insights.
- Stronger communication, governance, measurement, and executive-ready storytelling skills.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
