The Role

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to support the day-to-day business management of Schonfeld's Macro & Fixed Income platform. Working closely with DMFI Business Managers across Rates & FX PMs, this person will contribute and support the team in their role of PM onboarding, business analytics, operational execution, and cross-functional coordination.

What You’ll Do

Business Management

  • Support the team on day-to-day business needs.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and tracking of business plans for PM builds and growth initiatives in the region.
  • Assist in the analysis of the business; help flag issues and support recommendations to enhance processes.
  • Help leverage AI and automation tools to streamline reporting and surface actionable insights.
  • Support efforts to ensure business operations remain compliant and in line with strategy goals.

PM Onboarding & Lifecycle Management

  • Support the team with onboarding of new Macro/Fixed Income PM teams, assisting with market-data entitlements, and trading-system connectivity.
  • Assist as a point of contact for existing stakeholders across the business.

Business & Performance Analytics

  • Assist in maintaining dashboards on KPIs and business metrics; help present insights to the team and the DMFI COO.
  • Support cost/benefit analysis for data, analytics, and technology spend.
  • Develop familiarity with AI/ML-driven analytics to identify patterns in performance, risk, and cost data.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Support cross-functional projects across operations, treasury, compliance, and technology.
  • Develop an understanding of Legal/Treasury processes.
  • Work closely with regional team members to support consistency of processes and best-practice sharing.
  • Support adoption of AI-powered tools (e.g., LLMs for research synthesis, NLP for news/sentiment, GenAI for workflow automation).

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree or working towards a degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Interest in financial markets, particularly rates, FX, or fixed-income products.
  • Desire to become familiar with trading technologies or market-data platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset — proficiency in Excel required; Python, SQL, or PowerBI is a plus.
  • Curiosity and interest in AI/ML tools and their application to business processes and analytics.
  • Project-management, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-moving environment.
  • Impeccable integrity and discretion when handling sensitive trading and financial information.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and time zones.
  • Experience within financial services through academic projects, coursework, or prior placements preferred.
