About the AIG Early Career Programme
When you join AIG, you will be part of a connected cohort community of early career talent participating in a programme that will equip you with the skills and capabilities to enable you to launch your professional career. From day one, you will develop your knowledge and understanding of AIG and the insurance industry and learn new skills through meaningful on-the-job experiences and instructor led masterclasses. Through exposure to senior leaders, mentoring circles, networking, and volunteering you will create meaningful relationships with colleagues across the organisation and beyond. These opportunities, and the support offered by your team and manager, will give you the tools to make a real impact and build a rewarding and successful career.
You will also have the opportunity to complete a relevant recognised qualification in Insurance, which will support you in your career in Claims.
How you will make an impact
- Learn the end to end process of claims handling
- Support your team with claims administration and providing our clients with excellent service
- Obtain a high level of knowledge in claims handling both from a technical and legal perspective
- Build a close relationship with the underwriting teams and other stakeholders
- Liaise and work with AIG claims vendors and service providers
- Handle claims enquiries

What you’ll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than July 2027.
- Previous work or volunteering experience in any industry or sector
- Evidence of extra-curricular activities
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Motivated, proactive, accountable and willing to learn
