We are looking for graduates to join our Advisory Services teams in 2027. This is an opportunity to work in a leading engineering and professional services consultancy, helping clients respond to complex challenges across infrastructure, investment, economic development, healthcare and the built environment.

A little bit more about your role and the teams…
As a Graduate in our Advisory Services teams, you’ll help clients make informed decisions, navigate change and deliver lasting value for communities, organisations and the environment. Depending on your team, you could support investment and transaction advice, business cases and due diligence; organisational transformation and digital strategy; or cost management for life sciences and healthcare projects.
You will work in collaborative teams alongside consultants, economists, digital specialists, cost managers, technical advisers and sector experts. From supporting investment decisions and transactions, shaping digital solutions and helping organisations transform, to managing costs and value across life sciences facilities, you’ll gain insight into how advisory services can turn complex challenges into practical, real-world outcomes.
Investment and Transaction Advisory
The Investment and Transaction Advisory team helps clients make informed decisions across infrastructure, investment and economic development. You could support work including economic analysis, impact assessments, business cases, commercial strategy and technical, ESG and commercial due diligence for investors, lenders and public sector organisations.
Our advice covers:

Economic analysis, evaluation and impact assessment, including economic development, industry and innovation strategies, trade forecasting and cost modelling.

Strategic, commercial, technical and ESG advice for government, public sector bodies, investors and lenders, including business cases, procurement, delivery models and due diligence
Transformation & Digital Advisory
Our Transformation & Digital Advisory team helps clients respond to change, improve how they work and deliver lasting value. You could support projects across sectors such as government, defence, pharmaceuticals and energy, contributing to research, workshops, analysis and recommendations that help organisations develop new operating models, digital solutions and sustainability strategies.
Digital Advisory
The Digital Advisory team helps clients use data, technology and digital ways of working to solve real-world challenges. You could support digital strategies, dashboards, reporting tools and technology-led programmes across infrastructure, government, health and the environment, gaining practical experience in how digital ideas become meaningful outcomes.

Life Sciences
WSP’s Health and Life Sciences team supports clients across the health and life sciences sectors, providing practical advice from early feasibility through to completion on complex refurbishments and new-build schemes. Working alongside NHS Trusts, private health facilities, science organisations, design teams, contractors and colleagues across WSP, you’ll build your technical and commercial knowledge while contributing to projects that create better environments for healthcare, science and research.

What we’re looking for:

You will have or be on track to achieve at least at 2:2 in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant subject Advisory graduate opportunities | WSP

You will be looking to start work in either April or September 2027. Please note that not all of our teams do recruit for April.

You will have a passion for consulting and an interest in how advisory services can help clients respond to complex challenges.

You will communicate clearly, work well with others and be open to learning from different specialists across project teams, with the ability to work well as part of a team.

You will want to create value for our clients, be curious and take ownership of your work and development and a drive to solve problems.

You will want to actively seek opportunities to learn and broaden your skillset.

In this team, you will work with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with colleagues and adapting to dynamic project environments.

Our two-year Graduate Development Programme is designed to help you build the skills, experience and professional network needed to thrive at the start of your career with us. Through a blend of structured learning, mentoring and hands-on project experience, you will be supported every step of the way.

If successful at this stage, you will be invited to complete an online assessment, which includes a cognitive assessment, personality questionnaire, and situational judgement test. Each stage is an essential part of our early career’s recruitment process.
