We're looking for top talents to join the Graduate Talent Program.
In this program you will be directly involved with businesses across the bank, getting hands on in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.
As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignment is a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.
In addition to all that, you'll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you'll get to know us.
We’re Looking For Someone To
- assist in the execution and delivery of projects within Solutions, focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning
- actively contribute to the implementation, documentation, and communication of innovative solutions that address clients’ business challenges.
Your team
Group Internal Consulting (GIC) is UBS's internal consultant unit. We are a dynamic, driven and diverse team with over 500 people present in 5 regions across the globe. As part of the firm’s Group Chief Operating Office (GCOO), we work in close partnership with all divisions and functions to drive transformation and change across UBS, supporting the firm in achieving its strategic goals. Our focus is on delivering high quality services, with fast onboarding, leveraging institutional knowledge. We offer our consultants a diverse portfolio of projects, providing them with the chance to work across the firm. Your expertise
- will graduate between September 2025 and September 2027
- has fully completed their degree and met all graduation requirements by the program start date
- has no more than two years of full-time work experience
- has or is on track for at least a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in their first undergraduate degree.
- foundational skills in Python, Git, APIs and writing clean, testable code. Familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, pandas and scikit-learn is desirable. Being able to progress from notebooks to reusable Python packages, containerised applications and automated testing and deployment pipelines.
- understanding of data preparation, supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation and basic statistics. Experience through coursework or projects using scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Develop repeatable data and training pipelines, track experiments and learn distributed processing as data volumes grow.
- basic knowledge of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Experience building an application using an LLM API or open-source model is advantageous.
- understanding of AI agents, tool calling, workflow orchestration and state management. Ability to build simple agents that interact with APIs or complete defined tasks, with appropriate human oversight.
- awareness of cloud platforms, Docker, model deployment, monitoring, data privacy and responsible AI principles. Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills. Support production deployment with CI/CD, model versioning, autoscaling, drift monitoring and security and governance checks.
- candidates should demonstrate foundational knowledge and practical learning through university projects, internships, hackathons or personal projects.

Your program
Our Graduate Talent Program is 18 months long and is designed to help you develop the skills you need to grow your career. To start, the program introduces you to our firm, provides professional and technical training and teaches you core skills and knowledge about consulting. And it continues from there: by learning from your colleagues, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your network. You’ll have the opportunity to see beyond your job by participating in one, or several, rotations. If you’re ready to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
