We are looking for ambitious students with a background in/knowledge of the sector to join our growing Infrastructure team in Bristol on a 12-month sandwich placement.
Society faces a range of complex challenges, including housing shortages, the transition to cleaner energy, climate adaptation, biodiversity enhancement, and the need for sustainable infrastructure. Within our Infrastructure team, we help clients and communities respond to these challenges across both urban and rural environments. It's a fascinating and varied area of work, offering the opportunity to contribute to projects that have a lasting impact on people, places, and the environment.

Our infrastructure team is the fastest growing of its kind in the country, now with over 200 people in offices around the UK, working with major clients including Network Rail, HS2, National Grid, Homes England, and the Crown Estate.
Operating in both rural and urban environments, our Infrastructure placement students are directly involved in delivering the world we need for the 21st Century and beyond. We cover an array of services to clients within the following sectors:
- Energy
- Minerals & Waste
- Regeneration
- Telecommunications
- Utilities
- Transport
- Geospatial / GIS
- Property / Asset management
What will it take to be successful?
We're looking for ambitious and enthusiastic individuals who are studying towards a relevant RICS-accredited degree and have an interest in the infrastructure property sector. Experience within surveying, particularly exposure to valuation or compulsory purchase, is beneficial, but it's your attitude, potential, and willingness to learn that will set you apart.

Candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative approach to working with others, and proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite. Given the nature of the role and the need to travel to client sites and properties, a full UK driving license is essential.

Our APC candidates receive support from dedicated supervisors and counsellors, alongside access to workshops, mock assessments, networking opportunities, and learning sessions delivered by experienced colleagues from across the business. Candidates also benefit from insights and guidance from recently qualified surveyors, helping them navigate the APC process with confidence.
This collaborative approach ensures candidates are well supported throughout their journey, while gaining exposure to a diverse range of work and experiences that contribute towards their professional development. APC support and funding are available to those undertaking an eligible RICS-accredited pathway.

Application process
You will be asked to respond to a number of questions about your work experience, as well as your motivations and interest in a career in property, and any extracurricular activities. We ask you to provide reference contact details, one educational, and one employment. If successful, you will be invited to attend an interview in November.
