About the Role
THE POSITION
Our Placement Internship is a year-long programme offering an exceptional introduction to the Investment Management industry. Starting in June 2027, the internship spans twelve months and provides opportunities across a variety of departments. You will play an integral role within your team, taking on meaningful responsibilities that contribute to delivering excellence for our clients and positively impacting millions of beneficiaries worldwide. WHO CAN APPLY
This programme is designed for penultimate-year undergraduate students who are eager to explore a career in investment management. We welcome applications from all degrees. At Wellington Management, you’ll find opportunities across our three core platforms:

- Corporate Access & Research Services (CARS)
Works in partnership with our investors by managing and maintaining excellent relationships with corporates and external research providers alike, all while maintaining our firm's compliance with global regulators.

The Investment Platform comprises of investment professionals strive to deliver exceptional investment returns for our clients. The teams collaborate with each other and with other investors across the firm to identify opportunities and risks. -
Sustainability
Sustainability function focuses on integrating sustainability into investment strategies and operations. They offer sustainable investment solutions, leverage extensive research, collaborate with investors, engage with clients, provide thought leadership, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidates are likely to:
- Be an undergraduate student who is eligible for a year-long industrial placement in your penultimate year of study – beginning June 2027.
- Have skills or experiences which demonstrate an interest in a career within investment management.
- Be a highly motivated self-starter with high intellectual curiosity.
- Be proactive and have humility and willingness to learn from and collaborate with their colleagues.
- Possess outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills, be resourceful, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic.
- Able to work independently, in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, where priorities change frequently.
- Have strong systems skills, in particular familiarity and versatility in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Language skills would be advantageous but are not required.
