The opportunity
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to experience firsthand what it truly means to work in Sales and Marketing, immersing yourself in the Asset Management sector.
Candidates should have a thirst for learning and challenge conventional thinking. They should have a logical and analytical thought process and have an inquisitive mind. They need to possess strong interpersonal skills, including the ability and desire to work in a collaborative environment.
We are extremely proud of our track record in developing our interns to be successful long-term members of our team and hope to offer this year’s candidates the opportunity to join us after their studies.
The programme will run for 6 weeks from June to August and is based out of our London office.
Our culture is unique
Our culture is entrepreneurial and collegiate. Our sales and marketing teams work collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for our clients, as well as promoting our products to prospective investors.
Our Sales and Marketing teams are key to the continued growth of our business, the development of our products, getting our message heard and managing client relationships.
There are several departments within Sales & Marketing including: Third Party Distribution, Institutional Marketing, Direct Sales, Consultant Relations, Alternative Marketing and Central Marketing Services. These teams engage investors and their representatives to identify investment needs and explore ways in which LAM is positioned to meet those needs.
Our people are open, honest and straightforward. Former interns have commented how genuinely friendly and approachable we are, and how we go out of our way to help them learn.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
