Our Risk Management Division
Our Risk Management division is made up of a number of different teams, trusted to identify, measure, control, mitigate, monitor & report on any risk exposures to our international business.

Risk Management
The Risk Management function is responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring and managing risk across MUFG's international business. Working in partnership with business and support functions, the team helps ensure that risk is managed within the bank's risk appetite while supporting sustainable business growth.
What to Expect
The Risk Analyst Programme provides broad exposure across the Risk function through up to three rotations in different risk disciplines. Analysts gain hands-on experience while developing a well-rounded understanding of how the bank identifies, assesses, monitors and manages risk.
Rotations may include areas such as Credit Risk, Market & Liquidity Risk, Operational Risk Management and Enterprise Risk Management. Throughout the programme, analysts will work closely with experienced professionals, building technical expertise, commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Analysing risk exposures and supporting risk assessments
- Monitoring portfolios and identifying emerging risks
- Conducting data analysis and preparing risk reports
- Supporting governance, controls and regulatory activities
- Contributing to risk management projects and initiatives
- Preparing presentations and materials for senior stakeholders
Our 18-month Analyst Programme begins with a comprehensive training curriculum designed to build your understanding of our products, clients, and business strategy. This foundation will equip you with the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed as you transition into your role.
As part of a select Analyst cohort, you'll learn from some of the most experienced professionals in the industry while building connections with peers across the programme.
