We deliver valuation, consultancy, transactional (agency), equity and debt financing services across all of our sectors. You will rotate around the division, gaining an unmatched breadth of experience across a variety of sectors and service lines, before specialising in a particular sub-team once qualified.
Rotations include:
- Residential Investment & Development (Agency)
- Hotels (Agency)
- Student Accommodation & Co-Living (Agency or Valuations)
- Healthcare & Senior Living (Agency or Valuations)
- Self Storage (Agency or Valuations)
- Europe (Agency)
- Capital Advisory (Equity and/or Debt)
- Investment Strategy & Asset Management
Headquartered in London, we work alongside specialist colleagues across our network of 241 offices in the UK and Europe, as well as colleagues in over 700 international offices.
There are currently more than 160 professionals in the division, and we have significant growth ambitions.

About this role
The Savills OCM Analyst Programme involves six rotations lasting four months each. Analysts rotate through different specialist teams within our division, allowing them to gain a thorough understanding of the industry, the Savills business, the Living sectors and our clients, in preparation for the APC and becoming a skilled real estate professional.
Rotations
The OCM Analyst Scheme will include rotations within OCM Valuation and one of our Agency teams (Residential, Student Accommodation & Co-Living, Healthcare & Senior Living, Hotels, Self Storage or Europe), as well as either Equity or Debt Advisory.
The division works on many market-shaping mandates, which will provide you with unmatched exposure and experience of the full lifecycle of an asset or platform.
We invest extensively in developing our people and frequently provide support with qualifications (additional to the APC), such as CFA or CFI, etc. You will be given exposure to clients from the outset and provided with a platform to build a strong network internally and externally.

A Typical Day
Assume a key role working on projects in both the private and public markets, across a number of service-lines, including valuation, transactional advisory (investment and development agency), development consultancy, capital raising, joint venture structuring, M&A and debt advisory.
Exposure to a large number of growth sectors, including Build to Rent (Multifamily and Single Family), Purpose-Built Student Accommodation, Co-Living, Senior Living, Hotels and Self Storage.
Support senior members of the team in delivering exceptional client service.
Work independently and with colleagues as part of a transactional or project team.
Perform in-depth research and analysis on the UK and European Living markets.
Gather comparable evidence in order to appraise the value of assets.
Build and use cash flow models in Excel in order to provide valuation advice or underwrite large real estate agency transactions.
What we are looking for
- Excellent academics, including an undergraduate / master’s degree (2:1 minimum)
- Strong analytical skills – both quantitative and qualitative.
- Effective communication style, with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of people.
- Interest in and aptitude for Microsoft Excel (knowledge is not a prerequisite as you will be taught).
- Basic understanding of finance.
- Demonstrable experience or interest in real estate, be it development, investment, private equity or investment banking.
- European languages advantageous.

Training
Our training and development programme is highly regarded as one of the best in the real estate industry, and has been carefully designed to enable our Analysts to reach their full potential.
As an Analyst, you will have regular opportunities to attend technical, business skills and personal development sessions - including conferences, courses, lectures, networking, mock assessments, revision sessions and social events - which will complement your practical experience and meet the theoretical requirements of your APC.
You will have an APC supervisor and counsellor to support and guide you throughout the two year training programme, as well as a team mentor. They will discuss your training and experience needs with you at regular progress reviews, ensuring you receive all the support you require.
