2027 Summer Internship Program - UK Investing
Sixth Street’s Summer Internship program is an opportunity for rising seniors to learn how to be a fundamental investor at a fast-paced, top-tier global investment Firm. Our firm is designed for cross-platform collaboration at scale: we build businesses, invest for growth, acquire assets, provide direct financing, identify value in public markets, purchase royalty streams, and regularly develop first-of-their-kind structures to meet the strategic objectives of management teams.
Overview Of Program
- Participate in a 10-week internship program designed to give you a robust understanding of Sixth Street’s investing strategies
- Acquire extensive training and develop your understanding of financial products, underwriting, modeling, and accounting
- Obtain hands-on, meaningful, and substantive work experience in a small class that is representative of our Analyst Program
- Gain investing acumen across geographies and asset classes (debt and equity)
- Perform in-depth industry research to support our investment evaluation process
- Get exposure to senior management and a network of alternative asset management industry leaders
- Conduct due diligence on investment opportunities, including in-depth analysis on companies and industries (detailed valuation and financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, DCF analysis, and comparable analysis)
- Develop and maintain financial models (Excel), forecasting and analyzing cash flow, capital structure, acquisition / disposition strategy, for existing assets and new investments
- Prepare investment memoranda to support financial analysis, analyze market conditions (macro and micro), and outline strategy and investment returns

What We Look For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an accredited program and on track to graduate in either Winter 2027 or Spring 2028
- Excellent academic record – please include predicted degree classification or overall average mark on your resume and note that we may request a copy of your transcript
- Applicable coursework or previous internship in the field of investments or financial markets
- Excellent work ethic and high degree of professionalism
- Commitment to a team and goal-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamically changing environment
- Strong ethical standards and integrity
