A diverse team of Traders, Quantitative Researchers, Technologists and Operations personnel closely collaborate to solve problems and develop cutting-edge models and systematic trading strategies.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for passionate self-starters eager to take on real-world challenges and drive meaningful impact. As part of a collaborative team, you will work alongside traders and quantitative researchers to develop models that identify alpha, execute trading strategies, and analyze market behavior. Throughout the 10-week program, you will gain hands-on experience while contributing directly to XY Capital’s success by deepening our understanding of financial markets and enhancing our trading capabilities

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Studying for an undergraduate, master’s, or PhD in a STEM subject
- Suitable for students graduating in Summer/Winter 2027 or Summer 2028
- Excellent understanding of research methodology and techniques
- Proficiency in Python - including Data Structure Engineering, Pandas, Sci-Kit Learn, XG Boost, Tensor Flow and/or similar libraries
- Any ADRs/GDRs, dual-listed securities, US ETFs or EMEA equities trading/research experience would be a bonus
- Experience working as a part of a small, highly collaborative team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, ambitious, tenacious, team player
- Proficiency in English is a must

INTERVIEW PROCESS
All applications will be carefully reviewed and if you are selected to proceed to the interview process it will follow the below stages:
- Online numerical, analytical and programming test
- 1 x Technical interview with team members
- 1 x Final interview with management
