Job Description
Role Overview
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop technical and project management skills through project work, with great prospects for career progression as the business continues to grow.
Responsibilities
- Work on water frameworks across the UK and internationally.
- Collaborate with senior and principal modellers as part of the UK-wide modelling team.
- Conduct network modelling work including model build, calibration, verification, and more.
- Use industry standard hydraulic modelling software, GIS, and coding.
- Produce reports and present findings to clients.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the development and delivery of water, wastewater, and drainage projects.
- Analyse data and technical information to identify challenges and evaluate solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and improve water infrastructure.
- Contribute to projects addressing challenges such as climate change and sustainable water management.
- Develop technical knowledge and gain experience with industry-leading tools and digital technologies.
- Produce technical reports and support engagement with clients and stakeholders.

Candidate Specification
- Less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements).
- A master's degree (obtained no earlier than 2025) or expected to achieve a degree in one of the following disciplines: Geography, Hydrology and Water Management, Water and Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or Mathematics.
Skills and Attributes
- Methodical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to use initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
