Job Overview
This role is directly supervising work groups of offenders serving a community sentence. It includes driving service vehicles, working with service users, and ensuring tasks are carried out to the best of their ability. The role requires weekend shifts and may include evening work.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate groups to complete manual tasks.
- Ensure tasks are carried out to the best of their ability.
- Work alongside individuals to demonstrate good practice.
- Transport people or equipment using service vehicles.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
- Experience: Experience in areas such as painting, decorating, carpentry, gardening, grounds maintenance, construction, landscaping, or general maintenance is desirable.
- Skills: Excellent people and communication skills, confidence to lead, motivate, and supervise groups.

Working Pattern
- Frequent weekend work.
- Evening work may be required.
- Higher pay rate for weekend days.

Salary
Starting salary: £28,064, pro-rata for part-time roles.
