Do you have experience of working as a Physiotherapist Support worker within the Acute setting?

Would you like a post working within Therapies Team at Dumfries & Galloway Royal infirmary focussing mainly within the Medical wards?

We are looking to employ a suitably experienced Physiotherapy Support worker for the above.

OR - If you have had no experience of working as a Physiotherapy Support work but perhaps have some transferrable skills and would like to apply, you can commence your employment as a Band 2 Physiotherapy Support worker. Once competencies have been completed, you would transfer to become Band 3 Support worker.

You will be expected to undertake clinical and non-clinical tasks within both the ward and the department environment.

Your work will involve assisting patients with their Physiotherapy treatment and also assisting other members of the team as required.

Your hours of work will mainly be Monday to Friday but due to the ever-changing health care landscape, there is the expectation that you will work, on a rota, at weekends and Public holidays. This will be discussed at interview.
