We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual to join our skilled technical team as an Associate Practitioner on a bank contract. This post is within the busy Microbiology Department based in the Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.
The post holder will have the opportunity to join a strong team working within a modern medical laboratory located on the outskirts of Dumfries. Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary is a state-of-the-art general hospital opened in December 2017.
Requirements
- Recent experience of working or recent integrated training programme in a medical microbiology or pathology lab.

Details
This fixed term (12 months) Bank post is particularly suitable for students due no standardised hours on an ad hoc basis.

Interviews will be held in-person only on Thursday 27th August 2026 at the Laboratories, Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, Dumfries.
