Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)
Receptionist/Admin Assistant Band 2
Location: CAMHS Intellectual Disability Team, Astley Ainslie Hospital, Edinburgh
Hours: 19 hours per week worked over 3 days between Monday and Friday 09.00 - 17.00
Note: As this post is part-time, the salary will be pro-rata.

Role Overview
We are looking for an individual who is motivated, enthusiastic with the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day functions and duties of the wider team.
- Provide a high-quality administration service to patients/families and the multidisciplinary sector team and other users of the Service.
- Communicate effectively with patients/families, clinicians, professionals, and other administration staff.
Desirable Qualifications
- Administration experience within the NHS Health Service or a similar environment.
Essential Skills
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritise.
- Excellent IT skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Packages.
Location and Work Requirements
The post will be based at CAMHS Intellectual Disability Team at Astley Ainslie Hospital, Edinburgh and you will be asked to work from the CAMHS Unit at Royal Hospital for Children & Young People around cover arrangements as required.
