Band 5 Registered Nurse Bank
Dumfries and Galloway Region
NHS Dumfries and Galloway Community Treatment and Vaccination Service (CTAV) are looking to recruit forward thinking, motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our bank of vaccinators.
The length of shift may vary but will be between the hours of 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Requirements
- Applicants must be a first level Registered Nurse with post registration experience.
- Flexibility and self-driven with a commitment to developing and delivering a high standard of care within an evolving service.
- Previous vaccination experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
- Knowledge of adult vaccination programmes and the Greenbook.
- Excellent communication, time management, interpersonal, and IT skills.
- Ability to travel independently to deliver the vaccination service within the region.
Training
Training will be provided as part of an induction and the ongoing development within CTAV service.
PLEASE NOTE: The attached job description is under review and it is possible that there will be a variance in duties in the future. This will be discussed at interview.
