NHS Lothian is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Exercise Physiologists to join our expanding Prehabilitation Service. These exciting opportunities will support the delivery and continued development of a prehabilitation service designed to optimise the health, wellbeing and functional capacity of individuals preparing for cancer treatment.

As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, you will:
- Assess individuals' health status, physical function, exercise readiness and rehabilitation needs.
- Design, deliver and monitor personalised exercise and physical activity programmes.
- Provide education and behaviour change support to promote long-term health and wellbeing.
- Deliver individual and group-based interventions across hospital and community settings and digitally.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve person-centred outcomes.
- Contribute to service evaluation, audit and quality improvement initiatives.

Important Notes
- As from 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part-time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
