We are particularly keen to hear from applicants who are available for bank shifts Monday – Friday and whose experience provides them with the flexibility to work across a variety of clinical areas. Whilst we offer very occasional weekend bank shifts, the majority of available shifts are Monday – Friday.
We would also encourage applications from people with experience in providing specialist Pelvic Health and Uro Gyn Physiotherapy services.
Please note on your application which clinical areas, day and sites you would be keen to work in.
The Role
Takes a lead role for a designated clinical area with a caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge. Has responsibility for the supervision, education and development of more junior staff, physiotherapy support workers and students within the speciality.

The working pattern for this role is: Staffbank 0 hours.
In This Key Role, You Will
- To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work including direct and indirect patient care.
- To assess capacity gain valid consent and have the ability to work within a legal framework with patients who lack capacity to consent.
- Act independently to assess, analyse clinical and non-clinical information and provide highly specialist and comprehensive clinical diagnosis for individual patients to determine their need for physiotherapy intervention. This includes patients with complex presentations.
- Act independently to plan, implement, evaluate, treat and progress patient care to maximise rehabilitation potential – including decision making regarding discharge from care.
What You'll Bring
- Registered Physiotherapist with valid HCPC registration.
- Educated to/working towards/operating at degree level.
- Post graduate expertise within speciality/area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality/area of practice.
