Specialist Physiotherapist Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Physiotherapist to join the team of allied health professionals working within the Major Trauma Service at the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh. The post holder will deliver physiotherapy assessment and intensive rehabilitation to patients who have suffered complex polytrauma on the dedicated Major Trauma Ward.

Candidate Requirements
Candidates must be highly motivated, dynamic, and enthusiastic about delivering high-quality, concentrated rehabilitation to patients following major trauma in a safe and supportive environment.
- Display evidence of clinical experience of work in a wide variety of core Band 5 rotations.
- Show particular interest and experience in major trauma or a relevant clinical subspecialty.
- Be committed to this 9-month opportunity.
- Ability to prioritise and discharge plan for a wide range of presentations is essential.
- Clarity of communication and well-demonstrated organisational skills.
- Experience of supervision, mentorship, and appraisal of other staff members/students is essential.
- Expected to contribute to a 5/7 working pattern and the out-of-hours/on-call service.
