NHS Dumfries and Galloway has an exciting opportunity for a Podiatrist to join our enthusiastic and motivated Podiatry team, dedicated to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care across our rural region.

This is a fixed term post ending on 30/05/27 and is based within rural Annandale and Eskdale

This post is community based providing community-focused podiatry care to a diverse and geographically varied population.

Whether you are an experienced clinician or newly qualified, you will be joining a proactive and supportive team that works collaboratively within the wider multidisciplinary network including AHPs, nursing teams and community partners to deliver excellent clinical outcomes and contribute to effective treatment planning.

Newly qualified podiatrists will be supported through the Flying Start NHS programme, ensuring a structured and supported transition into practice with dedicated development time, supervision and learning opportunities.

In this community‑based role, you will plan, manage and deliver a broad range of podiatric interventions. You will work across preventive, palliative and corrective care and provide ongoing support and supervision to Podiatry Healthcare Support Workers.
