Vacancy for Estates Officer
A vacancy has arisen within the Estates and Property Services department for an Estates Officer, to be part of a successful multi-disciplinary team delivering a planned and reactive maintenance service for NHS Dumfries and Galloway.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have a building services qualification along with demonstrable experience in facilities maintenance management. Experience in the use of a computer-aided facilities management system would be advantageous, however training will be provided.
Responsibilities
Working in a relatively small but busy department, the successful candidate will be required to operate at both a National and Local level, to manage and undertake a wide range of strategic and operational maintenance activities. This will be carried out using specialist systems, and there will be a requirement to support accurate and effective data input, interpretation, and management of this data.
